Using the bone conduction hearing aid as its physical structure, it achieves non-invasive real-time EEG signal (EEG) acquisition and analysis by integrating dry electrodes or flexible electrodes into key neural signal active areas such as behind the ear or at the temple. Its core design breaks through the traditional limitation of hearing aids relying solely on sound amplification and filtering, deeply embedding BCI technology into the hearing aid scenario, providing a more intelligent solution for hearing-impaired patients.
In terms of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) early warning and detection, the hearing aid uses built-in EEG processing algorithms combined with brainwave characteristics during cognitive tasks (e.g., abnormal activity patterns in θ wave and α wave) and dynamic changes in attention- and memory-related neural signals to assist in the early identification of Alzheimer’s disease risk. Combined with long-term monitoring data, it achieves sensitive detection of neurodegenerative changes related to Alzheimer’s disease, providing a scientific basis for early intervention in high-risk populations.
